MB2 Dental has launched Carabelli Club, a national affiliate program designed to provide independent dental practices with access to vendor discounts, operational tools, and educational resources. According to the company, the program offers an alternative for private practice owners who are not formal MB2 partners but still seek support in managing and growing their practices.
“Carabelli Club is our way of extending part of the MB2 platform to private practice owners,” said Dr. Chris Steven Villanueva, founder and CEO of MB2 Dental. “We talk to more than 2,500 dentists every year about joining MB2. While we only partner with about three percent of them … most who don’t join remain private practices. This program is designed to bring more of those dentists into the fold and help them thrive.”
According to the company, Carabelli Club members receive access to discounted pricing through strategic vendor partnerships in areas such as technology, marketing, insurance verification, and artificial intelligence tools. The program also includes free and reduced-cost continuing education, a complimentary Dentira membership for procurement access, and exclusive use of the Carabelli Clubhouse — a communications platform with updates, product promotions, CE events, and practice management content. Members also receive travel and consumer discounts.
“The interest from independent dentists who want to join and vendors looking to partner has been overwhelming,” said Jeff Cellucci, chief strategy officer at MB2 Dental. “Carabelli Club is a way for us to support the broader dental community… through improved pricing, tools, and clinical education.”
According to MB2 Dental, the Carabelli Club model draws from the organization’s experience supporting nearly 800 partner practices. The company’s Dental Partnership Organization (DPO) model emphasizes clinical autonomy while providing centralized support and vendor relationships. While MB2 partners with a small percentage of applicants, Carabelli Club is intended to extend some of those benefits to a wider group of dentists who remain independent.
Vendor partners involved in the program include Henry Schein, Align Technologies, Envista, Dentsply Sirona, Overjet, MaxAssist, Cadmus Dental Lab, and CareCredit, among others.
MB2 Dental, based in Dallas, was founded in 2007 by Villanueva. The company has partnered with more than 750 general and specialty dental practices in 45 states. In 2024, MB2 Dental announced a recapitalization backed by private equity firm Warburg Pincus.
