Vyne has sold Vyne Medical, its clinical data intake, management, and workflow automation business serving hospitals and health systems, to MRO. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. According to Vyne, the sale will allow the company to concentrate its leadership, capital, and product investment on Vyne Dental, its revenue cycle management (RCM) platform connecting dental practices, dental service organizations (DSOs), and payers.
“Vyne Medical is a strong business with an exceptional team, and MRO is the right home to help it grow further,” said Steve Roberts, CEO of Vyne. “This is a focus decision. The largest, fastest-growing opportunity in front of us is dental RCM, where we already hold a leading position on both the provider and payer side of the revenue cycle. Concentrating our resources here lets us drive innovation rather than split our attention across two important but different healthcare segments.”
Vyne Dental connects functions including insurance verification, claims and attachments, patient communications, and payments. According to the company, it plans to invest in expanding its connections across the dental technology ecosystem while developing existing relationships with practice management, distribution, and payer partners.
“Solution fragmentation costs our customers time, money, and better outcomes. They want one partner that does more, not more partners,” said Sajid Khan, chief business officer of Vyne. “This transaction gives us added capacity, from both a capital and resources perspective, to deliver better-connected solutions that optimize provider revenue while reducing the time practices spend managing software and transactions instead of patients.”
According to Vyne, it plans to accelerate its Dental product development roadmap, expand capabilities for enterprise customers and DSOs, and increase investment in artificial intelligence across the reimbursement lifecycle. The company also intends to pursue acquisitions designed to add platform capabilities and expand its payer network services.
“Vyne Dental holds a leading position in dental revenue cycle management, and this transaction lets Steve and the team put all of their energy behind it,” said Dan Williams, partner and head of healthcare at TJC. “We will continue to back the company’s product roadmap and its acquisition strategy as it builds the platform that connects dental practices, DSOs, and payers. We also thank the Vyne Medical team and wish them every success as part of MRO.”
Vyne Medical provides technology for capturing, organizing, and integrating patient information and clinical and administrative communications, including fax, voice, documents, images, and electronic data, into clinical and revenue cycle workflows and systems. According to Vyne, the business will operate as Vyne Medical, an MRO Company during the transition, with its existing team continuing to support clients.
Vyne Dental remains a portfolio company of TJC, L.P., formerly known as The Jordan Company. TJC is a middle-market private equity firm with $31.3 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2026.
